APRIL 2026:
Trustee opportunities - Fleetwood Trust
Fleetwood Trust is seeking to appoint three Trustees to join its Board during a significant phase of organisational development.
We are looking for senior professionals with established Board-level experience and expertise in Finance, Legal, or Human Resources. The successful candidates will demonstrate strong strategic judgement, effective governance capability, and a collaborative leadership style.
Fleetwood Trust is a registered charity with a clear and ambitious mission: to transform the former Fleetwood Hospital building into a sustainable, multi-purpose community hub. Through the provision of accessible services, facilities, and programmes, the Trust aims to deliver meaningful, long-term benefits to the local community.
Since its establishment in 2018, the Trust has made substantial progress, with the redevelopment of the ground floor (19,000 sq. ft.) now nearing completion. As the organisation transitions into the next phase of its strategic plan - focusing on the redevelopment of the upper two floors (10,000sq. ft. each) - this is a key moment to join the Board and contribute to the next stage of growth.
Trustees play a critical role in providing oversight, ensuring robust governance, and supporting the Executive in delivering the Trust’s objectives in line with its legal and regulatory responsibilities.
This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise within a purpose-driven organisation at a pivotal point in its development.
If this opportunity is of interest, or you wish to discuss it further, we would welcome an informal conversation with CEO Charley Wilkinson, or Chair Dr Mark Spencer. Please email charley@fleetwoodtrust.co.uk to request this.
To apply, please submit your CV and a supporting statement outlining your suitability to: info@fleetwoodtrust.co.uk
